Mark Cardy

Mark Cardy is currently the Finance Director at Sky, where they have held various roles since 2011, culminating in their position as Head of Finance from 2020 to 2024. In their career, Mark was instrumental in significant acquisitions, including the £7bn purchase of Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia, and played a key role in managing cash flows that contributed to Sky achieving £1bn of free cash flow for the first time. They also led the integration of international businesses and developed strategic financial initiatives that supported substantial revenue growth across the organization. Mark holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The University of Sheffield, which they completed in 2006.
