Andrew Hawthorn

Andrew Hawthorn is an accomplished Major Event Producer at Sky Television, with a career spanning several decades in the broadcasting industry. Since November 2010, Andrew has led on-site deliveries for major events such as the Tokyo Olympics and the Beijing Winter Olympics. Previous roles include Supervising Producer for Sky Sports Productions and Senior Producer/Director for live sports broadcasts. Andrew's experience also encompasses significant freelance work for IMG Media, producing and directing for the Americas Cup, as well as contributions to APP Broadcast and TVNZ, where a diverse range of programming was developed. Andrew's early career included radio announcing and music directing, coupled with education from Auckland University and Auckland Grammar.
