Matthew Barrett

Matthew Barrett is a highly experienced Senior Producer and Director at Sky New Zealand since June 2015, leading a small agile Outside Broadcasting unit, directing and switching productions. With over 12 years of freelance experience as a Senior Multicamera Director, Matthew has worked on a diverse range of programming including news, sports, comedy, and children's shows. Previous roles include Line-Up Producer for the Māori current affairs show "Marae," Director for various entertainment productions at TVNZ, including "Good Morning" and "BEST BITS," and contributions to Māori Television. Matthew holds a Certificate in Film and Television Production from Unitec.
