Rachel Peters

Rachel Peters has a diverse work experience. Rachel is currently working as a Content Strategy Lead at Sky New Zealand. Previously, they worked as a Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology from July 2018 to June 2023. Rachel also worked as a Freelance Columnist at Newsroom NZ from November 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, Rachel was a Learning Advisor at Manukau Institute of Technology, where they provided one-on-one support to students, conducted workshops, and created online learning material. Rachel also worked as part of the International Admissions Support Services team at The University of Melbourne, processing international post-graduate applications and liaising with student agents. Rachel has experience as an English Tutor, teaching children and teenagers, and also worked as a Marketing Intern at Penguin Random House. Rachel'searliest role was as a Receptionist at Big Picture Marketing Strategy & Research Ltd, where they managed various administrative tasks.

Rachel Peters has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Auckland University of Technology, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Rachel further pursued their education at the same university, completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Applied Language Studies in 2014. Rachel Peters recently completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Communication and Media Studies from Auckland University of Technology in 2022.
