SkyBeacon Labs is an R&D startup focused on improving drone/UAV operational safety and reducing the risk of mid-air collisions in increasingly crowded low-altitude airspace.

Traditional aviation safety systems can be costly or impractical for many small UAV platforms. SkyBeacon Labs is developing SkyBeacon, an experimental cooperative awareness and collision-risk reduction system designed with accessibility, scalability and small-UAV use cases in mind.

Based in Turkey, SkyBeacon Labs is led by engineering students working on applied research in UAV safety, embedded systems, wireless communication, simulation-based validation and systems engineering.

Our current work focuses on:
- Cooperative awareness for small UAV operations  
- Simulation and laboratory-based validation  
- Embedded prototype development  
- System requirements, interface definition and verification planning  
- Safety-oriented design for multi-UAV environments.
