Margaret Dean

Margaret Dean has a strong background in the animation industry, with over two decades of experience. Margaret is currently the Head of Skybound Animation Studio, a position they started in January 2022. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles, including President of Women in Animation, Head of Studio at Crunchyroll, and General Manager at Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Margaret also worked at notable companies such as Mattel, Wildbrain Entertainment, and Warner Bros. Animation, where they served as a producer. Margaret's extensive experience in the field includes overseeing large-scale productions and leading teams through the transition from traditional to digital animation.

Margaret Dean completed their MFA in the field of Visual Arts at UC San Diego from 1976 to 1980. Margaret then pursued further education and obtained another MFA degree in the Producer's Program at UCLA, from 1988 to 1992.
