Joel Rinsky

Joel Rinsky has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Joel is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at SkyCool Systems Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at VELO3D as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Engineering from May 2021 to May 2023.

From March 2020 to May 2021, Joel was the Director of Engineering at Off the Grid, where they directed an engineering and manufacturing group, overseeing the design, development, and implementation of engineering programs.

Before that, from March 2017 to March 2020, they held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Radius Innovation & Development. Joel also worked at FINsix Corporation, Soraa, Xicato, and Intel Corporation, where they held various roles in mechanical engineering and management.

Joel's earlier experience includes working as a Math Teacher at Palo Alto Prep High School from August 2004 to July 2006. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, and technical design and development.

Joel Rinsky completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics / Astrophysics at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1999 to 2003. Joel then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University from 2008 to 2010.
