Jake Liu

Jake Liu, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Jake is currently the Director of Financial Reporting & Compliance at Skydance, a position they started in May 2022. Prior to this, Jake worked at 8020 Consulting from March 2019 to May 2022, serving as a Consultant. In this role, they provided M&A support, managed overseas teams, reviewed financial reports, and streamlined processes to improve efficiency. Before joining 8020 Consulting, Jake held various positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment from January 2013 to March 2019. These roles included Manager of Financial Reporting, Supervisor of Financial Reporting, and Senior Analyst of Financial Reporting & Accounting. At Warner Bros., Jake implemented reporting efficiencies, conducted in-depth analysis, and prepared financial packages. At the beginning of their career, Jake worked as a Supervising Senior at Nigro Karlin Segal Feldstein & Bolno from June 2008 to January 2013. In this role, they managed compliance audits and provided expert guidance on collective bargaining agreements and union member contracts.

Jake Liu, CPA completed their education from 2004 to 2008 at UC Santa Barbara, where they obtained a degree in Business Economics with a focus on Accounting. Jake also holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
