Kathy Chasen-Hay

Kathy Chasen-Hay has extensive work experience in the visual effects industry. Kathy began their career at Dream Quest Images in 1987 as a Visual Effects Editor and worked there for nearly 8 years. Kathy then worked as a Visual Effects Editor for various companies as a freelancer from 1995 to 2000. In 2001, they joined JB Films as a Visual Effects Editor and later moved to Asylum Visual Effects as an Executive VFX Producer, where they remained until 2010. Kathy then worked at 20th Century Fox as a VFX Producer for films such as "This Means War" and "Chronicle" from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, Kathy served as the Senior Vice President of Visual Effects at Lionsgate. Kathy then joined Paramount Pictures as a VFX Producer for "Dora and the Lost City of Gold" in 2018. In 2019, they worked as an Associate Producer/VFX Producer for Universal Pictures on "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw" and is currently working at Skydance as the Senior Vice President of Visual Effects.

Kathy Chasen-Hay is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science, Producers Guild of America, and Visual Effects Society. Kathy received a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
