Max Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Max began their career as an Apple Technician at ComTec in 1994 before moving on to become a Technical Analyst & Lead Technician at MicroAge, exclusively for Amgen in 1996. Max then worked at Digital Domain as an MIS Systems Administrator and later as an IS Desktop Support Supervisor. In 2000, they founded their own company, Maxintosh, where they served as the Owner and provided CTO services to individuals and small businesses. Max also worked as an IT Manager at 525 Studios during this time. In 2009, Max took on the role of Coach for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Triathlon team and later became the Head Coach. Max also served as the CTO and Co-Owner of TNS Training during this period. In 2013, Max worked as the CTO for All Things Aero Media. Max then joined Skydance in 2018, first as the SVP of Information Technology and then as the Executive Vice President, responsible for their digital footprint and creative content divisions. Max's work experience also includes their role as a Screenwriter, where they have written feature screenplays and collaborated on various projects.

Max Miller attended Simons Rock College of Bard from 1990 to 1994, where they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 1993, they also briefly studied Sociology and Film at Goldsmiths, University of London. Additionally, they attended Bard College at Simon's Rock from 1990 to 1993, majoring in Sociology and Film.
