Katy Bird

Katy Bird has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 1999 when they worked as a Camp Counselor and High Ropes Coordinator at the YMCA. In 2002, they became a Climbing Wall Coordinator and Birthday Party Host at the University of Denver Ritchie Center, as well as a Student Liaison for the Admissions Communication Team. In 2005, they interned in Human Resources at Jackson Ice Cream - Kroger, where they were later hired on staff. In 2006, they worked as an HR Generalist at CTL Thompson, Inc., and also had a Community Relations Internship at KUSA-TV. In 2007, they began working at 24 Hour Fitness as a Group X Instructor, and also at SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. in various roles, including Marketing Director, Product and Marketing Manager, Marketing and Creative Manager, and Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant to the CEO. In 2010, they were a Group Exercise Instructor at both the Greenwood Village Athletic & Tennis Center and the University of Denver.

Katy Bird attended the University of Denver from 2002 to 2006, earning a B.A. in Communications Management (PR) & Business. In 2004, they also completed a Study Abroad program at the UNSW, focusing on General Studies.
