Bill Blumenthal has had an extensive career in the military and business world. Bill began their career in 1975 as a United States Marine Corps Military member, where they were initially enlisted and was promoted to E-7 in ten years. Bill was then assigned to various leadership positions, including Drill Instructor, Platoon Commander Deep Reconnaissance Platoon, and Marine Officer Instructor Texas A&M University. In 1985, they were commissioned as a Warrant Officer with numerous military assignments. In 1996, they moved into the business world and became a Sales Representative and Assembly Plant Manager for Outboard Marine Corporation/Stratos. In 2000, they took on the role of Plant Manager for ALCOA Subassembly and Logistics. In 2005, they became a Liaison Officer for DRS/C3W, and in 2008 they took on the role of Program Manager, Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles National Reset Program for BAE Systems. In 2010, they became a Liaison Officer for C3W Group, and in 2012 they were a Leader for Seeking Next Opportunity. In 2013, they were a Business Development Manager for SKYDEX Technologies, Inc., and they are currently retired as of 2019.

Bill Blumenthal attended Greenville High School from 1969 to 1972. Bill then attended the University of Texas from 1972 to 1974, though they did not receive a degree. Bill then attended Texas A&M University from 1983 to 1985, again without receiving a degree. In 1992, they attended the Defense Systems Management College.
