Structural Design Engineer at Skydweller

James Brenner has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. James currently works at Skydweller Aero as a Structural Design Engineer. Prior to this, they worked as an Intern at the same company, where they conducted experiments analyzing semiconductor performance and tested experimental solar cells for increased efficiency in solar energy.

Before joining Skydweller Aero, James worked at Oklahoma State University as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. In this role, they assisted the professor with tutoring, scheduling, and grading. James also explained complex structural analysis to students during tutor hours. Additionally, they worked as a 3D Printing Specialist at the university.

James also had the opportunity to work at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration as a Student X-Hab. Lastly, they served as an Intern at Trimble Inc., where they were team lead and designed and built a UAV system capable of autonomous flight with a land marking system payload.
