Peter J. Jin

Peter J. Jin is an Associate Professor at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where they also served as an Assistant Professor from 2014 to 2020. Prior to their positions at Rutgers, they worked as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for Transportation Research at the University of Texas at Austin from 2012 to 2014. They began their research career at the Traffic Operations and Safety Lab at the University of Wisconsin, where they held multiple roles from 2010 to 2011. Peter earned a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they also completed their Master of Science and earlier studies in Automation at Tsinghua University. Additionally, they co-founded SkyeBrowse in 2017, serving as the Chief Technology Officer.
