Luke Fischer has a long and varied work experience beginning with their role as an Aviation Officer for USSOCOM in 2002. In 2017, they co-founded MatrixDS, where they served as an Advisor and COO. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Flight Operations for Uber and U.S. Army Reserve Service Lead for the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). In 2020, they took on the role of Gov't Operations Lead for Joby Aviation. In 2021, they co-founded Sky Roasters and Help For Afghanistan, where they served as Co-Founder and COO and Co-Founder and CEO respectively. Finally, in 2022, they co-founded SkyFi App, where they serve as Co-Founder and CEO.

Luke Fischer has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Xavier University, which they obtained between 1998 and 2002. Luke then went on to obtain a Master of Arts (M.A.) in National Security Policy Studies from the U.S. Naval War College between 2012 and 2013. In 2016 and 2017, they obtained both a Master of Science (M.S.) in Management from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation from the same institution. Additionally, in 2014, Fischer obtained Airline Transport Pilot- Rotorcraft, Private Pilot w/ Instrument Airplane, and sUAS certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration, as well as a Skydiving B License from the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA).
