José Siqueira

José Siqueira has a strong background in software engineering and architectural roles. José currently holds the position of VP Engineering at Skyfii, a role they have held since October 2015. Prior to that, they worked for Simple Machines Pty Ltd as Principal Architect and Solutions Architect from August 2013 to the present. José also worked for Fairfax Media as an Application Architect, where they were responsible for API design, development best practices, and defining company-wide architectural policies. José was in this role from January 2011 to July 2013. Before that, they held the role of Tech Lead at Fairfax Media from October 2006 to March 2011. José also has experience as a Software Engineer at Appen (August 2006 to October 2006), an IT Specialist at IBM (January 2005 to August 2006), and a Software Engineer at HSBC (November 2002 to December 2004) and DSTC (August 2000 to September 2002). José also served as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney from July 2000 to July 2002.

José Siqueira pursued their education in the field of IT, with a focus on Internetworking. In 1994, they earned a Bachelor of Informatics degree from Comando Militar do Sul - CMS, where they studied until 1997. Later, in 2001 and 2002, José attended the University of Technology Sydney, where they completed a Graduate Certificate in Internetworking.
