Curtis Buxton

Curtis Buxton possesses extensive experience in various IT and project management roles, currently serving as IT Manager and Project Manager at SkyFire Energy Inc since October 2015. Previously, Curtis held the position of Project Engineer at Schlumberger from January 2006 to March 2015, providing Continuous Improvement support for both Western Canada and global initiatives. In a prior role as IT Manager for Canada at M-I SWACO from June 1998 to 2006, Curtis successfully implemented Sarbanes-Oxley policies and managed internal IT controls, contributing to the organization’s success in passing SOX audits. Early career experience includes roles at Camelot Superabsorbents, focusing on product development and operational procedures. Curtis holds a CET degree in Chemical Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing further education at the Canadian Solar Institute.
