Leo Sun P.eng.

Leo Sun P.Eng. is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management, estimation, and electrical field engineering. Currently serving as the Commercial Preconstruction and Project Manager at SkyFire Energy Inc. since May 2021, Leo specializes in the estimation and design of solar PV systems, and oversees commercial projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan. Previously, as the Lead Electrical Field Engineer and Electrical Superintendent at BBE Hydro Constructors LP, Leo was responsible for comprehensive management tasks including operation planning, risk management, and budget oversight for projects exceeding $80 million. Prior roles include Estimating Engineer at Kiewit and Network Planning Analyst at Rogers Communications, supplemented by a foundational experience as a co-op student at Avcorp Industries. Leo holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
