Zari Salimnejad

Zari S. has a wealth of experience in design roles, starting with their current position as the Head of Product Design at Skyflow. Prior to this, they worked at Apollo GraphQL as the Director of Design, where they led the build-out of the Design organization and drove product-led growth. Zari also held the role of Senior Staff Product Designer during their time at Apollo.

Before joining Apollo GraphQL, Zari worked at Microsoft, first as a Senior UX Designer within the Developer Services Division, where they contributed to the design of new patterns and features for Azure DevOps. Zari later became a Senior UX Lead within the Cloud + Artificial Intelligence Division, where they served as the UX Lead for a team of 10 Designers and Researchers.

Zari's experience also includes serving as the UX Design Lead at Xevo (previously UIEvolution), where they spearheaded design efforts on a long-term IoT project for a cruise ship client. Additionally, they worked as a Senior UX Designer at Sears Home Services, where they redesigned a B2B order management app.

Earlier in their career, Zari was a UX Designer at GoDaddy, where they focused on the architecture and design of online tools and services, and at PNC Financial Services, where they designed online and mobile banking products and services. Zari began their career as an Industrial Designer at EyeSee360 Inc., where they were involved in the design of hardware, packaging, logos, graphics, and advertisements, playing a key role in launching the company's first mass-market panoramic camera optic.

Zari S. holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University. No specific start or end year for this education is provided.
