Peter Swenson

Peter Swenson has extensive experience in corporate legal counsel, having held various senior legal positions at notable firms. At SKYGEN from October 2017 to March 2022, Peter served as General Counsel, overseeing corporate governance, financial transactions, and service contract negotiations related to software development. Prior to SKYGEN, Peter was Senior Director and Deputy General Counsel at Fortis Management Group, managing legal matters for 65 healthcare facilities. Additionally, Peter worked at Extendicare in similar roles, focusing on corporate governance and real estate transactions for over 140 properties, and at Patzik Frank and Samotny Ltd. as an associate attorney specializing in commercial and M&A transactions. Earlier experience includes a role at Vedder Price P.C. handling aircraft financing transactions. Peter holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington.
