Melissa Ross

Melissa Ross has held a variety of accounting and finance roles since 2016. In 2016, they were a Finance Intern at Cabot Corporation, where they compiled necessary files and financial statements for company year end and tied out 10(k). Melissa also reviewed financials and monthly trial balances to ensure accuracy and completeness. In 2017, they were an Audit Intern at RSM US LLP, where they were trained in the process for auditing Cash, Accounts Payable, and Employee Benefit Plans. Melissa worked alongside full time employees to learn to understand how to meet a client’s needs and expectations, RSM audit approaches and tools, and related GAAP and GAAS issues. Melissa also performed substantive tests and tests of internal controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues. From 2018 to 2020, they held the roles of Experienced Assurance Associate and Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP. During this time, they also held the roles of Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accounting Manager at both Skyhawk Therapeutics and Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc.

Melissa Ross obtained their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley University between 2014 and 2018. Melissa has also obtained the Recorded BioBasics 101: The Biology of Biotech for the Non-Scientist Master Course certification from Biotech Primer in August 2021.
