Krista Fernandez

Krista Fernandez has a diverse work experience across various industries. Krista'smost recent role was as a Project Manager at Skyhook Interactive, where they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Educator/Entrepreneur at Fit con Fernandez LLC starting in March 2021. Krista designed and developed wellness programs for adults both in person and virtually.

Krista also has experience as a Health Coach at Noom Inc. from November 2020 to October 2022, where they virtually coached over 300 clients to achieve their wellness goals. Additionally, they have worked as a Brand Marketing Ambassador at Switch from August 2020 to December 2021, building brand relationships within the health and wellness communities in Arizona.

Krista has also worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Jabz Boxing Fitness for Women from October to December 2020, coaching women through boxing circuits. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at OH Partners from November 2019 to March 2020, providing advertising solutions to Health/Wellness and Quick Service Restaurant clients.

Before entering the marketing and wellness industry, Krista worked in the digital project management field. Krista was a Senior Account/Project Manager at Avintiv Media from December 2018 to November 2019, where they oversaw a diverse client portfolio and provided full product branding support. Krista also worked as an Interactive Digital Project Manager at meltmedia from October 2017 to October 2018, managing web-based projects for pharmaceutical clients.

Krista'searlier experience includes roles such as an Account Coordinator/Project Manager at One North Interactive from April 2014 to February 2016, where they served as a client advocate for national and international accounts. Krista also worked as a School Teacher at Archdiocese of Chicago from August 2012 to April 2014, assisting Kindergarteners and teaching Spanish to students in grades K-8.

Krista Fernandez completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary Education - Health and Physical Education at Illinois State University from 2007 to 2011. In their additional certifications, they obtained various qualifications, including Google Project Management: Specialization from Coursera in April 2023, Foundations of Project Management from Coursera in March 2023, and Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project from Coursera in March 2023. Krista also acquired certifications such as Certified Genetics-Based Program Designer, Nutritionist, Transformation Specialist, and Group Exercise Instructor from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) in 2021 and 2022. Additionally, they hold other certifications like Glute Specialist, NCCPT Certified Personal Trainer (NCCPT-CPT), Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Management and Strategy Institute in 2020, and several LinkedIn certifications related to leadership, public speaking, storytelling, and remote work obtained in March 2020.
