Ada Shaw

Ada Shaw is a Machine Learning Scientist at Skyhook, with prior experience as an AI Scientist at Abiologics, where significant contributions included developing computational methods for understanding noncanonical amino acids. Prior to that role, Ada served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Harvard University in Debora Marks' Lab, focusing on protein engineering and optimizing protein fitness through statistical methods. Additional experience includes a graduate internship at NASA collaborating on atmospheric model evaluations and undergraduate research at the University of California, Berkeley, working on Anammox carbon-fixation pathways and environmental projects. Ada holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics and an MS in Environmental Science and Engineering from Harvard University, alongside a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
