Shanaka Fernando

Shanaka Fernando has a solid work experience in the field of engineering. Shanaka began their career at Pioneers Technical Systems in 2009 as an Electronics Engineer and worked there until 2011. After that, they joined Aero Sense (Pvt) Ltd. and held the position of Electronics Engineer from 2011 to 2016. Shanaka then took on the role of Senior Electronics Engineer at the same company from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, Shanaka joined HITEC Sensor Developments (Pvt) Ltd as a Customer Support Manager and worked there until 2022. Currently, they are employed at Skykraft as a Systems Engineer starting from November 2022.

Shanaka Fernando's education history begins with their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, which they obtained from the National Institute of Technology Silchar from 2005 to 2009. They later pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Manufacturing Management from the University of Colombo, completing it from 2014 to 2015. Shanaka then went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Gloucestershire in 2021.

In terms of additional certifications, Shanaka obtained the Certified Labview Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from the National Instruments in August 2010.
