Richard Cade

Richard Cade has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Richard co-founded Skylight IPV in 2016 and served as the Co-Founder & Chief Product Officer. Richard also held the roles of CFO and Company Secretary. Richard played a crucial role in developing the strategy and objectives for the commodities product, and they were instrumental in defining the product development roadmap and key performance metrics. Prior to Skylight IPV, Richard worked at IHS Markit for 12 years, where they were the Director of Totem Commodities. Under their leadership, the business grew significantly, expanding the client base and markets served. Richard also achieved high profitability for the company and led the migration of multiple applications onto a single set of tools, reducing costs and improving efficiency. Earlier in their career, Richard worked at Morgan Stanley as a European Power and Gas Product Controller and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an Auditor, where they gained experience in risk identification, control implementation, and financial audit.

Richard Cade completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Reading, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, Richard attended Aylesbury Grammar School, although no degree or field of study information is available for this period.
