Ben Scott

Ben Scott has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ben currently holds the position of Advisory (Fractional CFO) at Skylight Technologies, which they started in February 2023. Prior to this, from October 2017 to February 2023, they worked at Apartment List where they held the roles of VP Finance and Senior Director, Finance. During their time at Apartment List, Ben was responsible for achieving business outcomes through strategy, insights, and metrics. Ben also led the Finance organization during a period of high revenue growth and helped the company achieve profitability. Ben had key responsibilities in business planning, capital allocation cycles, and managing relationships with the Executive team, Board, and investors.

Before their time at Apartment List, Ben served as a US Controller at Quantcast from March 2013 to January 2017. Ben previously worked at Deloitte from October 2004 to March 2013, where they held the position of Senior Manager (UK) / Manager (US). Additionally, Ben gained work experience as a Financial Analyst at Royal London from October 2003 to October 2004 and as a Reporting Analyst at Shell from September 2000 to August 2003.

Ben Scott attended the University of Leeds from 2000 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
