Bethany Ragains, M.S.Ed.

Bethany Ragains, M.S.Ed. has a diverse work experience in the field of education and instructional design. Bethany currently works at Skyline ATS as an Instructional Designer and Content Engineer. Prior to their current role, they worked at Hangzhou International School as an Educator, e-Learning Developer, Trainer, and Team Manager. In this role, they provided project management support, conducted online learning programs, and created an educational resource repository. Before that, Bethany worked at St. Johnsbury Academy, Jeju as an Educator, Curriculum Developer, Instructional Technologist, and Mentor. Bethany developed a mentorship program, facilitated training on instructional technology, and defined learning objectives aligned with organizational requirements. Bethany also has experience working at Mannheim District 83 as an Educator and Curriculum Developer, where they delivered scenario-based learning experiences and conducted research to improve instructional programs. Additionally, they worked at My College Planning Team as an SAT/ACT Tutor, Mathematics Specialist, and Learning Designer, and at School District U-46 as an Educator and Curriculum Developer. Overall, Bethany has demonstrated expertise in instructional design, training, curriculum development, and educational leadership throughout their career.

Bethany Ragains, M.S.Ed. has a strong educational background in the field of teaching and learning. Bethany obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Spanish from Augustana College in 2012. Following this, they earned a Master of Science degree in Teaching and Learning from Illinois State University in 2019. Bethany is currently pursuing further education in Corporate Instructional Design and eLearning Development at IDOL courses Academy, with an expected completion date in 2022.

In addition to their formal degrees, Bethany has obtained two certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2012, they obtained the Education: Professional Educator Certificate from the Illinois State Board of Education. Most recently, in October 2022, they earned the IDOL courses Academy™: Learning Designer Credential from IDOL courses. These certifications further demonstrate Bethany's commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of education.
