Anthony Edwards

Anthony Edwards has a strong background in the banking industry, with various roles spanning from 2005 to present. Anthony started their career as a Teller/Customer Service Representative at Carter Bank & Trust in 2010. Edwards then worked at Edward Jones as an On-Call Branch Office Administrator from 2005 to 2006. Anthony later joined Grayson National Bank in 2012, where they held positions such as Assistant Branch Manager and Retail Lender, AVP/Commercial Credit Analyst, and AVP/Project Analyst. In 2016, Edwards joined Skyline National Bank, initially as an Assistant Vice-President/Commercial Loan Officer, and then they progressed to Vice-President/Credit Administration, Vice-President/Information Systems, and finally VP/Senior Credit Risk Officer. Their responsibilities included credit policy maintenance, loan review, cash flow analysis, underwriting, project coordination, and process efficiency. Edwards has exceptional expertise in credit risk assessment and loan portfolio management.

Anthony Edwards attended Surry Community College from 2004 to 2006, where they earned an AAS degree in Business Administration. From 2007 to 2009, they attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Anthony Edwards attended the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management, where they obtained a Diploma with Honors. Finally, from 2021 to 2023, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU and received a Diploma with Honors.
