Lukas A.

Software Engineer at Skyline Products

Lukas A. has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a SRAM Test Lab Intern at Cypress Semiconductor in 2006. Lukas then worked as a CAD Intern at Simtek Corporation from 2007 to 2008. Following that, they were a DRAM Design Intern at United Memories from 2005 to 2008, where they designed and engineered robust DRAM interface and peripheral control solutions.

In 2008, Lukas became an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. After that, they worked as a CAD Intern at EM Microelectronic from 2009 to 2009.

In 2009, Lukas joined American Electric Vehicles as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where they coordinated with engineers, clients, and vendors to design and manufacture cutting edge electric vehicles. Lukas was responsible for the integration of powertrain and electronic systems.

From 2011 to 2014, Lukas worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In this role, they researched, developed, and programmed a simulation package for lithium-ion physics-based models to improve cell state estimation for electric vehicle applications. Lukas was responsible for MATLAB and Simulink development of high fidelity reduced-order model generation and simulation.

Currently, Lukas is working as a Software Engineer at Skyline Products, Inc. Their responsibilities include research and development of monochrome and full-color LED signage for the DOT traffic market. Lukas focuses on control systems development and full-color calibration from both software and electrical engineering perspectives, with a majority of their software development designed for embedded environments.

Lukas A. pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Lukas completed their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2009. Lukas furthered their studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2014.
