Ilya Smolin began their career in 2021 as a Robotics Engineer at Light weight materials and structures laboratory, where they designed a real-time path modification system for Kawasaki industrial manipulator, integrated systems for arc-welding manipulators, and designed end-effectors for manipulators. In 2022, they joined Skyline Robotics as a V&V Engineer.
Ilya Smolin is currently attending Peter the Great St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Ilya began their studies in 2018 and is expected to graduate in 2022.
