Tanner Hagelstrom

Tanner Hagelstrom, PhD, MBA, FACMG, is a seasoned expert in the fields of oncology, molecular genetics, and clinical genomics. Currently serving as a Senior Director at Natera since February 2021, Tanner previously founded and leads Xpecting Diagnostics, a molecular company focused on providing labor timing information to women. With significant experience as the Laboratory Director at Illumina and in various roles at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and TGen, Tanner specializes in whole genome sequencing, regulatory compliance, and the development of clinical tests for rare and undiagnosed diseases. Tanner holds multiple degrees from Colorado State University, including a PhD in cellular and molecular biology and an MBA, and has extensive training in genetics, quality assurance, and product development.
