Santiago Tempone has worked in the engineering field since 2009. In 2009, they began working at SIM&TEC S.A. as a Special Projects Manager, leading a team of 10+ engineers to develop multiphysics computational fluid and solid mechanical analyses and tests for the aerospace industry and others. Santiago was responsible for project scheduling and client management, and successfully developed relationships with customers, contributing to the growth of the team. In 2014, they joined INVAP as a Mechanical Systems Engineer for the SABIAMAR project, where they were responsible for structures and mechanisms, thermal control, propulsion subsystems, spacecraft requirements balancement, and working with subsystems teams, external subcontractors, and vendors. Santiago also served as Structural Analysis Leader, engineer in charge of structural analysis for several projects, including LEO imaging satellites, optical instruments, and aircraft structures. In 2017, they became the CTO and co-founder of Skyloom Global Corp.

Santiago Tempone attended the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 and completed the SkyDeck program. Prior to that, they attended the University of Buenos Aires from 2004 to 2011, where they received a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Computacional solid and fluid mechanics.
