Peter Lotsikas

Peter Lotsikas is a highly experienced veterinary orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, currently serving as Co-founder and Owner at Apodeixis Models since June 2019. As the Medical Director and founder of Skylos Sports Medicine since November 2014, which is now part of the BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital network, Peter focuses on orthopedic surgery, sports medicine for canine athletes, and rehabilitation for post-operative and geriatric patients. Peter's extensive background includes roles as a veterinary orthopedic surgeon at CARE Veterinary Center - Frederick, Veterinary Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Group, and Sugarloaf Surgical Referral, along with initial training as a surgical intern at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. Peter's educational credentials include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and a bachelor's degree in Biology from Virginia Tech.
