Joey Powell

Joey Powell has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Joey began their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal in 2009. In 2013, they took on the role of Lead Groundskeeper at Creative Scapes Lawn and Landscaping, where they installed new landscape, concrete fixtures and pavement, mulched and greenery, supervised and maintained previously installed landscape, managed greater than 90 commercial and residential fertilizing accounts, maintained greater than 130 commercial and residential mowing accounts, mowed, edged, laid mulch, and maintained small trees and shrubs. Joey then moved on to North Carolina State University as a Lead Groundskeeper in 2014. In 2015, they became a Landscape Supervisor at Dunlap Lawn Service Inc. In 2018, they accepted the role of Engineering Support Co-op at NetApp. Finally, in 2020, they took on the role of Office Administrator at Skynet Innovations.

Joey Powell obtained an Associates degree in Network Management from Wake Technical Community College between 2016 and 2018. Joey also attended the Cisco Networking Academy. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from Google: G Suite: Integrations in February 2019 and GCP Essentials in January 2019.
