Rick Plautz

Rick Plautz has had a diverse career in the technology industry. Rick began their professional career in 1990 as an FMF Corpsman in the US Navy. Rick then joined Computant, Inc. in 2000 as a Senior Systems Administrator. In 2007, they moved to Nordyne as a Systems Administrator. From 2014 to 2017, they held various roles at Stifel Financial Corp. as an Application Support Analyst and Citrix Administrator, and at Nortek, Inc. as a Security Administrator. Since 2020, they have been working at Skynet Innovations as a Technology Solutions Engineer, where they are responsible for maintaining three separate offices/plants, covering hundreds of users and PC/Laptop solutions. Rick has also installed and maintained Meraki Firewalls, Switches, & Access Points, and Araknis APs and Switches, as well as managed several applications and implemented new solutions to meet business needs.

Rick Plautz obtained an Associates in Computer Science from Hawaii Business College in 2002. Rick has also obtained several certifications, including The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking from Coursera in September 2020, Technical Support Fundamentals from Coursera in May 2020, and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in December 2009.
