Scott Ko, CPA, MBA has held various financial and leadership roles throughout their career. Scott began their work experience at the California Department of Business Oversight (DBO) in 2005 as a Senior Financial Institutions Examiner, specifically within the Office of Credit Unions. Scott stayed with the DBO until 2014. Following their time at the DBO, Scott joined University Credit Union - Los Angeles. At University Credit Union, they served as the Controller from 2014 to 2017, the Chief Risk Officer in 2017, and then became the Chief Financial Officer from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Scott moved on to their current role as the Chief Financial Officer at SkyOne Federal Credit Union.
Scott Ko, CPA, MBA has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Occidental College. Scott then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Leadership from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. In addition to their academic qualifications, Scott is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certified by the California Board of Accountancy.
