Matthew Pears (Fintech PR)

Matthew Pears has worked in the Fintech PR industry for over a decade. Matthew began their career in 2008 as a Project Manager for McCabe Travel Limited. In 2011, they joined SkyParlour as a Senior Account Executive and worked their way up to Group Account Director, where they were responsible for overseeing all SkyParlour accounts and managing the delivery team. In 2016, they moved to Citigate Dewe Rogerson as an Associate Director and in 2019 they returned to SkyParlour as Executive Director and Head of SkyParlour Scale, as well as Director. Most recently, they were appointed as a Director and Trustee for Dr Graham's Homes UK in 2022.

Matthew Pears completed a MA (hons) in English Language from The University of Edinburgh from 2004 to 2008. Matthew then completed a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing from 2011 to 2013. Prior to this, they attended Wilmslow High School from 1996 to 2003.
