Laurence Aung

Laurence Aung is a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Skyports since June 2022, specializing in Go, Python, Kafka, Spark, and Azure. Prior to this role, Laurence served as a Senior Software Engineer at Superbet from September 2021 to June 2022, working with Go, Kafka, DynamoDB, Redis, Fastly, SSE, AWS, Terraform, and Kubernetes. From September 2017 to September 2021, Laurence was a Senior Software Engineer at RELX Group, focusing on data analytics for the aerospace sector using C#, Angular, Typescript, NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Linux, and AWS. Before that, Laurence worked at Sporting Index Group as a Software Engineer from June 2016 to September 2017, primarily with C#. Laurence began a career at Durham University from September 2011 to September 2015, initially as a Software Developer, leading the development of online assessment and student management systems, and later as a Graduate Software Developer, collaborating on projects for international clients. Laurence holds a BA(Hons) in Business Computing from the University of Sunderland, completed in 2011.
