Rajib Mukhapadhyay has a diverse range of work experience across various companies. Rajib began their career as an Accounts Officer at Turner Morrison Limited in 1995. Rajib then moved on to GKW Limited as a Management Trainee before joining GAIL (India) Limited as a Deputy Manager in Finance & Accounts in 1998. At GAIL, they managed surplus funds of approximately 2 billion euros and gained experience as an independent fund manager in maintaining investment portfolios.

In 2006, Rajib joined Alstom Group as the Regional Treasurer for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, they managed foreign exchange and risk management, project and export financing, cash management, and trade services. Rajib also developed strong relationships with local and international banks. During their tenure, they facilitated four successive block trades worth $1.

In 2012, Rajib became the Regional Treasurer at Alstom Power. Rajib then moved to SunEdison in 2015 as a Managing Director for Structured Finance & Treasury. Rajib was responsible for maintaining relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors, and managing liquidity through arranging project finances. Rajib also implemented innovative financing strategies to optimize the cost of capital.

Since 2016, Rajib has been working at SkyPower Global as the Director of Finance. In this role, they work with the board and stakeholders to formulate and drive growth strategies. Rajib is responsible for finalizing books of accounts, formulating financial strategies, and strengthening relationships with financial institutions and investors. Rajib also ensures tax-efficient structures for different projects and effective treasury management.

Rajib Mukhapadhyay began their education in 1990 at Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting and Finance. This program lasted until 1993.

Following this, from 1991 to 1994, Rajib attended The Institute of Cost Accountants of India, where they obtained a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) degree in Accounting and Finance.

Rajib then furthered their education at the University of Calcutta from 1994 to 1996, where they attained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Rajib Mukhapadhyay holds certifications from The Institute of Management Accountants (USA) and The Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia), both in the field of CMA.
