Vikas Verma

Vikas Verma has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to 2015. Vikas started their career as an Engineering Officer in the Indian Navy, where they provided technical leadership in the operation and maintenance of steam generation and propulsion power plants. Vikas also led a team of 100 technical staff and supervised inventory management and maintenance activities.

After their stint in the Navy, Verma worked as a Deputy Director at Naval Design (Submarine Design Group), where they provided technical leadership in the design and construction of specialized steam propulsion power plants. Vikas gained extensive experience in design tools such as CAEPIPE and CATIA, represented the Indian Navy in knowledge exchange programs, and trained junior technicians.

Verma then joined various companies in different roles. Vikas worked as an Assistant Manager in L&T's Marine section, where they specialized in the design and engineering of submarine systems. Vikas also worked as an Operations Manager at Sea Horse Shipping Group Pvt. Ltd., where they were involved in various shipping services and international transport operations.

Additionally, Verma served as the General Manager at Maheswari Mining & Energy Pvt. Ltd., the Director of Business Development at SkyPower Global, and the Deputy Director Naval Design at IHQ MoD Navy.

Throughout their career, Verma has gained significant experience in project management, business development, operations, and technical leadership.

Vikas Verma's education history is as follows: Vikas attended L.J.H.S. from 1983 to 1989 for their primary school education. From 1995 to 1997, they studied at Delhi Public School Korba (M.P) and completed their 12th grade, focusing on physics, chemistry, maths, and biology. Vikas then pursued a Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialization in mechanical engineering at Amravati University from 1997 to 2001. Continuing their studies in the same field, they obtained another engineering degree, also in mechanical engineering, from Amravati University, Chikhli. Finally, in 2008-2009, they pursued further education at the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
