Marc Newlin

Principal Reverse Engineer at SkySafe

Marc Newlin has over 18 years of work experience in software engineering. Marc began their career in 2003 as a Contract Software Engineer for The Internet. In 2011, they competed as a member of team wasabi in the DARPA Shredder Challenge. In 2013, they competed as a finalist in the DARPA Spectrum Challenge and finished in second place as the principal developer behind the solutions. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer at the University of Washington, Wireless Security Researcher at Bastille, Security Engineer at Snapchat, Inc., and Senior Security Engineer at Bird. In 2018, they assumed the roles of Staff Security Engineer, Senior Staff Security Engineer, and Co-Founder at Bird and Agitator, respectively. In 2022, they will become Principal Reverse Engineer at SkySafe.

Marc Newlin graduated from Inglemoor High School in 2003.
