João Rodrigues

João Rodrigues is a distinguished software engineer with a robust academic background and extensive experience in the technology sector. Since February 2020, João has been contributing to Skyscanner as a software engineer while also pursuing a PhD at Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, focusing on computer and network security with an emphasis on cloud privacy and reliability issues. In addition to this, João co-founded Nightcloud and serves as the CTO, and previously held engineering roles at Informa D&B Portugal and Xpand IT, where expertise in data and middleware infrastructure was developed. João holds a Ph.D. and an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
