Derrick Martinez

Derrick Martinez has a significant amount of work experience in the field of DevOps and systems engineering. Derrick started their career as a Network Administrator at NEWORLD in 1996 and later worked as a Network Engineer at Park Place Technologies from 2003 to 2005. Derrick then joined Wirelesswerks as a Project Manager and later became the Manager of RF Engineering from 2005 to 2013. In 2010, they joined GMTS, Inc. as a Senior System Engineer and Developer until 2015. Derrick then worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Senior Systems/Software Engineer in the Cloud division from 2014 to 2015, and later as a Systems Architect in the DevOps division from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2018, Derrick worked at Clear Capital as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Currently, they are working at SkySlope as a Principal DevOps Engineer, a position they have held since 2018.

Derrick Martinez attended Sierra College from 2000 to 2002, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science.
