Allan Moeller Larsen

VP of CMS Products at SkySpecs

Allan Moeller Larsen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Their most recent role is as VP of CMS Products at SkySpecs, where they lead product development for the Horizon CMS platform. Prior to that, Allan was the CEO and Founder of Vertikal AI, a wind industry tech startup that developed an advanced condition monitoring platform. Vertikal AI was later acquired by SkySpecs.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Allan worked at Siemens Gamesa as a Program Manager, where they focused on developing and commercializing digital customer products for the Wind Service Industry. Allan also served as a Project Manager in Service Technology at Siemens Wind Power, leading cross-functional project teams and delivering results in digitalization, big data, analytics, and IT systems.

Allan's earlier experiences include working as the Coordinator of the Mechatronics Cluster Denmark at SET-Sønderborg Erhvervs- og Turistcenter, where they developed an award-nominated service concept for entrepreneurs. Allan also worked as a Business Consultant at SET, leading the development of practical entrepreneurship and business modeling services.

Prior to their consulting roles, Allan owned and founded I & B Consult, providing consulting services for companies reporting to the Carbon Disclosure Project. Allan also gained experience as a Student Help at the Centre for Regional Economic Development, where they assisted other employees and took on responsibilities for the municipality's Entrepreneur Course.

Allan's early career includes roles as a Project Assistant at IDEA Entrepreneurship Centre and as the President of the Intro Team, a non-profit voluntary organization focused on welcoming new students to Sønderborg. Allan also completed mandatory service in the Danish Army, receiving basic military education and extensive training in first aid, fire, and rescue.

Allan Moeller Larsen's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Fredericia Amtsgymnasium, where they obtained a General Danish Gymnasium Degree with a Mathematical & Scientific specialization. Allan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering at Syddansk Universitet - University of Southern Denmark from 2005 to 2008. Following their bachelor's degree, Allan completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering with a specialization in Innovation & Business from the same institution between 2008 and 2010.

In 2020, Allan furthered their education by attending INSEAD, where they studied Business Administration and Management, specifically focusing on Making Innovation Happen.

In addition to their formal education, Allan has obtained several certifications.
