Soham Patkar has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics. Soham started their career at IIIT Hyderabad as an Undergraduate Research Intern in 2015. Soham then joined The Johns Hopkins University as a Graduate Student Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, where they worked on stability and control of linear dynamical systems. In 2018, Soham joined STEER as a Robotics Engineer, where they developed software for an autonomous vehicle and made significant contributions to the autonomy stack. Currently, they are working at SkySpecs as a Staff Robotics Autonomy Engineer, where they are involved in robotics autonomy projects.
Soham Patkar completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Soham attended this institute from 2012 to 2016. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Soham studied at Johns Hopkins from 2016 to 2018.
