Farid Mirhosseini is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in RF and antenna design, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Lead RF/Antenna Engineer at SKYTRAC since September 2020, Farid has led teams to successfully design antennas and a front-end avionic satellite transceiver for Iridium. As a Senior R&D Antenna/RF Engineer at Giatec, Farid contributed to the development of miniaturized antennas and concrete smart sensors. Prior roles include Antenna Design Engineer at Sinclair Technologies, Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Manitoba, and various engineering positions at Ericsson and Aerospace Research Institute. Farid holds a Ph.D. in Electromagnetics and Antenna Design from the University of New Brunswick.
