Steve Slanec

Steve Slanec is a seasoned audio post-production professional with extensive experience in sound editing and software development. Currently serving as Supervising Sound Editor at Skywalker Sound since August 1995, Steve oversees editorial and mixing teams for feature films and television productions. As President of Slanecon Digital, Inc. since January 1995, Steve designs and markets innovative software systems for audio post production. Previously, Steve held positions as a Software Engineer at Lucasfilm THX and Skywalker Sound, contributing to the development of theater design software and the SoundDroid application. Steve began the career at New England Digital, focusing on software development for digital audio workstations. A graduate of Dartmouth College with a BA in Computer Science, Steve's expertise spans both technical and creative aspects of sound production.
