Raul Radu is a Software Engineer with experience in developing drivers for high G 3-axis accelerometers, peer code reviews, web development, engineering, working on CAD & BIM market products, and native iOS application development. Raul has also served as a Chief Legal Officer & Co-Founder, Full Stack Developer, app developer, and web frontend developer in various companies. Raul is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Skyward Experimental Rocketry is the first association of the Polytechnic University of Milan that designs and launches sounding rockets. Founded in 2012, our team achieves its goals and completes its projects by synergizing the know-how and abilities of students of all age groups and academic courses. In 2021 we successfully rebranded ourselves as we took part in the European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC), a competition organized by the Portuguese Air Summit, and launched our latest project Lynx, winning the Flight Performance and Team Effort Awards, ranking second in the overall ranking. In October 2022 we took part in EuRoC with our new rocket, Pyxis, winning the overall ranking. In October 2023 we will take part once again in EuRoC with Gemini, the first rocket of the association with an hybrid propulsion system.
