Matt Ruge

Matt Ruge is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in management liability across various sectors including private companies, nonprofits, healthcare, and law firms. Since June 2021, Matt has served as Vice President and Head of Private Company Management Liability at Skyward Specialty Insurance. Prior roles include Director of Underwriting at QBE North America and AVP Lead in Management Liability, as well as various positions at OneBeacon Insurance Group and Monitor Liability Managers, LLC. Matt began a career in commercial insurance at HIA Insurance after earning a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2005.
