Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in specialty programs. Since July 2020, Matthew has served as Vice President of Specialty Programs at Skyward Specialty Insurance, with previous roles including Assistant Vice President for both Specialty Programs and Oil and Gas, as well as Supervisor Underwriter and Senior Commercial Underwriter. Prior experience includes a tenure at Houston International Insurance Group (HIIG) as an Underwriter from October 2016 to July 2020, and earlier roles at Union Standard Insurance Group, which encompassed various underwriting and claims positions from May 2010 to October 2016. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oklahoma - Price College of Business, earned in 2012.
